The Prison of the Holy Spirit

This investigative documentary series follows Marie-Christine Bergeron as she meets former members of the Mission de l'Esprit-Saint.

The typographic approach was built around a tension between two systems of truth: an archaic, obscurantist visual language on one side and a more sober journalistic register on the other.

The design and motion work relies on layers, transparency, light, and depth, developed in After Effects and refined through a final color pass in DaVinci Resolve.
